Spain

I think that this is the country that, besides Italy, I know best. I’ve travelled through it far and wide, from Barcelona, with its architectural wonders, to the Valencia of the future; from Seville, with its treasures of Humanity, to Granada, rich in beauty as the pomegranate – its coat of arms – is rich in fruits; from the wildest and most unspoilt coasts of the South to the North, the rustic land of the Basques up to the sunny path of the famous Camino de Santiago … A special feeling binds me to this country, so diverse and populated with wonderful people: maybe that’s why I learned the language absorbing it directly from the voices around me.
