Marocco

85A journey. To stroll trough the chaotic markets of Marrakech and Essaouira, made of colors, scents and smells, unusual shapes and textures; to browse around in the artisan shops of Fez, where ancient creations find their form; to end up in the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a crystallized history in the time; to dive in the immense silence of the large sand dunes, from Merzouga, where the desert begins, up to the mountains of Todra Gorge, colored and sinuous; to look out to the ocean that breaks on the rocks, cradling the blue and red traditional boats. From Ait Benhaddou, ideal movie set for exotic stories, to Chefchaouen, “the blue city”, a dive in a sea turned into stone. Flavors, images, suggestions and traditions of a welcoming community colored my heart.
